Risee schedules through AlarmKit, Apple's own alarm system, so it sounds from the lock screen even if you force-quit the app the night before.
Press Stop, and your clip plays.
The lock-screen alert gets your attention. The moment you stop it, Risee opens and plays the thirty seconds you picked.
It comes back tomorrow.
A repeating alarm is set as a real weekly recurrence, so it keeps going until you switch it off — and stays at the same wall-clock time through a daylight-saving change.

Does the alarm work if the app is closed?
Yes. Risee schedules alarms through Apple's AlarmKit, so the alarm rings from the lock screen even if the app has been force-quit. Your clip plays once you press Stop and Risee comes to the front.
What can I use as an alarm sound?
A video you have saved to your camera roll, a link you paste, or a line you type and have spoken back in one of five voices.
Is Risee a downloader?
No. It imports a single clip when you ask it to, keeps thirty seconds of audio for your own alarm, and offers no browsing, no search and no library of anyone else's content.
Does Risee write my wake-up message?
No. Risee never writes anything. If you type a line, a synthetic voice reads exactly what you typed — nothing is generated for you and nothing is rewritten.
Do I need an internet connection?
Only to bring a clip in. Once it is saved, the alarm and the audio play from your phone.
Do you have my data?
There is no account and no server holding a profile for you. Your alarms, clips and settings are stored on the device. What does leave your phone is set out in full in the privacy policy.
Can I get it on Android?
Not today. Risee is an iPhone app and needs iOS 26 or later, which is what Apple's AlarmKit requires.
How do I cancel?
iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
